A new and much safer way of taking your holiday money abroad. We are agents for Travelex and can supply you with a either a sterling, euro, US, AUS and NZ Dollar cash passport card. You simply decide on how much money you want to load on to your card and in the case of the euro and dollar cards the rate of exchange is determined at the time of purchase. Once abroad you can use these cards, directly with no charges, in any outlet displaying the Visa Electron sign. These are widely accepted in shops, restaurants, supermarkets and hotels. If you wish to obtain cash this can be done at any ATM, again with no charges for cash withdrawals. There is no cost to purchase a euro or dollar cash passport and a 1.5% charge for a sterling card. From a security perspective each card has its own pin number and in the event of the card being lost or stolen, you ring a specific number and within 24 hours all the funds that remained on the card will be made available in a local bank. |
